Newid means change

If you could give Wales a fresh start, where would you begin?

Imagine you’re one of the people making the decisions and ask yourself these questions:

  • What would you change to enhance our quality of life?
  • What would you change to revive our economy?
  • What would you change to improve our children’s education?
  • What would you change to make our health and social care better?
  • What would you change to enable us to deal with climate change?

It’s not rocket science. All of these goals would be easier to achieve if we could get Wales back into full employment and begin to reverse the depopulation of our countryside.

But what would you change to make these things happen?

We’ve come to the conclusion that our cumbersome, self-serving and secretive political system needs to change if we’re to improve the lives of our families, our communities and Welsh society as a whole.

We are Newid. We’re a different kind of ‘political’ party. We represent a fresh approach to politics that’s inherently fair, dynamic and stable.

It’s a more advanced form of democracy called demarchy. It means ordinary people, not career politicians, make the decisions and so political parties are no longer necessary.

Of course, it’s not in the interests of politicians to make this change for us. We have to make it happen for ourselves.

Give Wales a fresh start by getting involved with Newid now.
